There’s been an issue with a supposed roleplayer under numerous usernames and aliases who’s been s_xually harassing female roleplayers on this site for over two years now. This individual—who’s gone under the aliases MJ, Duncan, and Omar—approaches female roleplayers looking for writing partners and asks them to move the conversation to Discord where he supposedly writes. He refuses to write anything his partners suggest and the plots he suggests are “slice-of-life” surrounding the themes of infertility, infidelity, and inc_st. The plots are always the same: couples struggling to conceive and a third party connected to his character “steps in to help” in some way.
While this is not a post supposed to shame roleplayers who write these subject matters, I would like to point out that this person (MJ, Duncan, Omar, whatever his name is) is not actively a roleplayer and is only using roleplaying as a conduit to s_xually harass women. This is the pattern of abuse he usually follows:
Finding players in by answering their plot calls
Coercing them into discussing the aforementioned plots
Veering the conversation so it turns into him and his private life which he overshares without any encouragement or consent from the players
Making unwanted advances
Attempting to get women to share explicit messages + photos with him
Becoming violent when he’s refused anything from the above
Before moving to Tumblr this man was a roleplayer on another site. After I got to talk with one of his former partners I found out she actually had to leave the site behind when he became enraged upon finding out she was writing with other people. He (MJ, Duncan, Omar) followed her onto Tumblr—and seeing he had no clue of how the site or the roleplay community worked—started mimicking roleplay blogs based on Discord the best he could. Some of the usernames he’s taken have been apache-gold, wineandwisdom, and thesevenking which is the one he contacted me from on January 2023.
After I caught up to what he was doing to me and a couple of my roleplay friends I made a post warning other players about him. I had to take on an alias because I was going by my first name on Tumblr and I locked my social media accounts when I started noticing strange activity—meaning I started having lurkers on my account which is something that never happens. He then deactivated two of his accounts and left out the first one, one I suspect he got locked out of because otherwise, he would have deleted them seeing it’s the perfect place to pick up on his patterns. Here are four different Discord usernames he has used:

Neither Tumblr nor Discord have systems through which we can get him permanently banned from the sites, so there is no way I can stop him from taking new usernames and aliases. What we can do, however, is keep an eye out for each other. This person is not a roleplayer anymore. This person is someone who seeks to cause harm to women due to his shortcomings in real life. He does not memorize names or usernames, he does not plot and he does not write in character, all he wants is to get his rocks off at the expense of unsuspecting women trying to have a hobby in peace.
These are some of the red flags:
I hate to have to say it this way because it’s friendly fire but he speaks like an old person.
Claims he works at an airport handling luggage, and security, and might even claim to be a pilot if he’s feeling creative enough.
Claims he’s constantly flying between CO and CA. This he might be doing to excuse any long absences in between chats with different people.
Constantly talks about himself and his physical appearance.
Constantly talks about his personal hygiene.
After he settles a plot, assuming he does not get ghosted, he asks roleplayers if they are willing to plot romance + smut with either his father or his friend.
If you are approached by a suspicious blog these are the signs to watch out for:
The blog is practically empty
Both his likes and followed accounts are visible
His likes are filled with pictures of barely-clothed celebrities (especially celebrities in their 30s and 40s), taboo plot bunnies, and plot calls without any rhyme or reason (some of these posts are years old and the blogs are inactive which makes no sense for a roleplayer who knows how plotting works)
Please block + report these accounts. And please be safe out there.
